Synopsis
When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.

Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they've closed tight. And every thirty days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.

Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.

Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind

If You Haven't Read**
I do not recommend this book series, I believe that it is way over hyped. My best advice is not to waste your time with this book and instead read some thing different like the Chaos Walking Series. The plot isn't amazing, has a very annoying main character and it has a completely predictable outcomes.  The only positive of this book is that it was a good thriller and kept me on my toes. Go see the movie instead, if it was half good try the first book but if it wasn't then don't because these are not for you.

If You Have Read**
I'm sorry. I strongly disliked these books. Thomas was the dumbest character ever, and he never did anything that I myself would have done. He really didn't do anything remarkable and I was mainly reading it for Newt, cause he was awesome.

The Maze Runner
This was my favorite of the series and it goes downhill from here, so if you didn't like it don't read the other books. This was the only book I liked Thomas, and I thought there would be some appeal to him in later books (more on that later) I did like the way that the Gaders escaped the maze but I kind of expected something better than Chuck fricken dying. Was that really necessary? I mean yes he woud have died one way or another throughout the series but really? The first book you kill off his (pretty much) only friend? I liked Thomas and Theresa's bond and was excited o see it grow in the future novels. Yep more on that later to. So yep, if this book was only a 3.5 or lower I wouldn't read the next book.

The Scorch Trials
So basically Im going to sum up this books review into two parts a) How I hate Thomas and b) What the heck was up with Thomas and Theresa? a) Thomas is a souless boy who could barely give a crap about people dying left right and center, the author gave me no emotion to an 11 year old boy getting killed. Thomas' emotions pissed me off a lot, I know that he was right about Theresa being untrustworthy but you would think after he first book (I thought they were falling in love) that he would at least think about her telling him about those people forcing her to do it. Ugh. b) Who the heck was Brenda? I trusted Winston (strange right?) but at first I was just like "oh whatever just a hot girl"  then I was lead to believe that "oh man! Is this a love triangle?" then, well that whole thing is kinda made clear in The Death Cure

The Death Cure
Things wrong with this book A) Thomas goes with Brenda and apparently she worked for Wicked B) There is no fricken death cure (yes this did dissapoint me) C) Newt dies. Things right with this book A) I liked the cranks in the city B) IT had an awesome climax

My Favorite Parts
Whenever Thomas talked about Newt in the first book.

Synopsis
Three years ago, Sophie Mercer discovered that she was a witch. It's gotten her into a few scrapes. Her non-gifted mother has been as supportive as possible, consulting Sophie's estranged father--an elusive European warlock--only when necessary. But when Sophie attracts too much human attention for a prom-night spell gone horribly wrong, it's her dad who decides her punishment: exile to Hex Hall, an isolated reform school for wayward Prodigium, a.k.a. witches, faeries, and shapeshifters.

By the end of her first day among fellow freak-teens, Sophie has quite a scorecard: three powerful enemies who look like supermodels, a futile crush on a gorgeous warlock, a creepy tagalong ghost, and a new roommate who happens to be the most hated person and only vampire student on campus. Worse, Sophie soon learns that a mysterious predator has been attacking students, and her only friend is the number-one suspect.

As a series of blood-curdling mysteries starts to converge, Sophie prepares for the biggest threat of all: an ancient secret society determined to destroy all Prodigium, especially her.

If You Haven't Read**
If you haven't read this book then you need to. There really isn't much to this, you need to read this book because of the characters. Screw the story line (it was amazing to) but these characters melt into your heart and the humor is awe-mazing!! That's right I just made up a word for the perfection of this book. Please you must not judge a book by its cover, when I first saw this book I thought it was a kids book. Its not. A crazy chain of events brought me to this book and I thank God it did because I now have the awe-mazing experience of reading this book. So please, please (recommended more for girls by the way) read this book. And read all about the Prodigium and step into Sophie Mercers world and yep, shes awesome and hilarious and in my opinion a very strong main character.

If You have Read**
WAS THIS BOOK SERIES NOT THE BEST? Ugh I loved Sophie and Archer ugh remember hat part in the second book when he was trying to get her to kiss him? Oh my gosh I got so many feels from his book. I can barley handle it. I loved how it turned out she was a Brannick, at first I was like "wait, what?" then you meet her family and that damn mirror and I loved them. I mean it kind of sucked cause Archer wasnt there. But STILL I loved it! Ok I am having trouble knowing where to start when describing the awe-mazingness of this book series. Ok so I'm going to start at the beginning.

Hex Hall* *You can read this if you finished the book
Ok so I loved them making out in the basement and, when she discovered he was apart of the eye, I was In shock! It kind of ruined a perfect moment but trust me that's not the last time she sees Archer (WHOOT!) Can I say that I hated Elodie? Of course I can, well first cause of how she treated Jenna and second because I hated how SHE was dating Archer. Ugh that bugged me. And Alice? Yep did no see that coming. So yeah... There's more I want to say, but I'm going to put it in the next book review.

Demon Glass* *You can read this if you finished the book
So Sophie's a demon? Like wtf? (Ok so it's not that big of a deal) I'm happy that she finally meets her father, and it's awesome that Jenna went with her! And Cal went to, but screw Cal. I can understand why she wanted to go through the process of removal but I always had this feeling she would never go through with it. So enough on that boring stuff, when Archer pulled her aside in the Alley. I smiled so big. I was really happy he gave her that necklace, really annoyed when she didn't do anything with it, and at the same time I understood why she didn't. I mean as far as she knew he was evil.

Spell Bound* *You can read this if you finished the book
HOLY HELL WEASEL!! This book was AMAZING!! WAS THIS NOT AN AMAZING CONCLUSION? Oh God... When they god shipped back to Hex Hall? At first I was disappointing but when they got their. MEEP!! Oh god, I loved the end. Man I am getting feels right now. Ugh I loved everyone's ending. It was the happiest heartwarming ending I have ever read. Totally satisfied.

My Favorite Parts
I basically loved each and every part with Archer Cross in it. Yep if he was in it, I loved it.

My Favorite Quotes

“Wow, Cross. I think you missed your calling. Screw demon hunting: you should clearly be writing Hallmark cards.”
― Rachel HawkinsDemonglass
“None of this makes any sense."
"I'm beginning to think I should make that the title of my autobiography.”
― Rachel HawkinsDemonglass
“Let's just say you may regret that second piece of cake.'
Oh my God. Regret cake? Whatever was about to happen must be truly evil.”

Synopsis
Before. Miles "Pudge" Halter's whole existence has been one big nonevent, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave the "Great Perhaps" (François Rabelais, poet) even more. Then he heads off to the sometimes crazy, possibly unstable, and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed-up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young, who is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart.

After. Nothing is ever the same.

If You Haven't Read**
Looking For Alaska is an amazing work that allows readers to take a deeper look at life. This is a comedy book and some how works if you are looking for romance and not looking for romance. One of John Greens finest works and an absolute must read in my opinion. All of the characters are awesome and the story line manages to hold your attention throughout he book. I would recommend this book for teens who want a simply awesome read, and yes I understand that I have used the word awesome several times in this review but.... it is. I cried my eyes out and will recommend this book to almost anyone.

If You have Read**
I loved this book!! I thought Alaska was a much more funny then Margo, ugh Alaska's prank at the end sent me into tears, and when they drove past the crash site? I could no longer see the book through my tears.  Plus when the teacher assigned Alaska's question? My heart sunk and I grew a great respect for that teacher. Pudge was a fantastic main character and I found myself agreeing with how he perceived Alaska and feeling bad for him and his feelings. Alaska was an amazing character and she somehow found her way to my heart (yes she stabbed it when she died). The ending of this book compleatly satisfied me. After his emotional roller coaster of a book I have asked for this book for Christmas because,

I do believe I will be rereading this book throughout my life.

My Favorite Parts
I loved it when Alaska and Pudge spent the weekend together and got so close, if that never happened I may have not cried so hard when she died.

I also loved the basketball game. The Colonel was hilarious with his cheers. I can even begin to explain how hard I laughed during this part.

My Favorite Quotes

“Y'all smoke to enjoy it. I smoke to die.”
― John GreenLooking for Alaska
“What the hell is that?" I laughed.
"It's my fox hat."
"Your fox hat?"
"Yeah, Pudge. My fox hat."
"Why are you wearing your fox hat?" I asked.
"Because no one can catch the motherfucking fox.”
― John GreenLooking for Alaska
“The only way out of the labyrinth of suffering is to forgive.”
